Is being single unhealthy?

Right now it is refreshing. I feel zestfully clean.

Constant sadness and loneliness can be unhealthy...if one was to be single long enough to start feeling that way then yes, I would think it would be unhealthy for them.

Hey there Mirror...to answer from MY perspective...I would have to say being Single is unhealthy...1-mentally, 2-physically, 3-emotionally, 4-spiritually, 5-morally, 6-financially, I think that about covers it!

It's no wonder married men live longer!

But then I'd go get more...and it would be a very small price to pay, to be healthy again!

depends upon what lifestyle one lives. Being single and abstinent is of course not unhealthy.Being single and living a promiscuous life, is of course less healthy. Being married but sharing partners is more unhealthy than a monogamous marriage and the list goes on and on. I dont think singleness in and of itself is an indication of whether or not one leads a healthier life.

With some of the "relationships" I've seen, I know it's better to be single than involved in "that" mess!

I am single by choice. I got out of a relationship with a woman whom I fought with alot. That is unhealthy. It caused me stress and all other kinds of headaches that I did not need (nor did she). We just were not compatible.

I am more at ease now, laugh more (like I did) before things went south in the relationship, and feel better about my future. Yeah, I wanna meet someone someday, and I have no idea when that will happen. But I see that being single, for me right now, is where I need to be. It is healthier for me.
