personally, no....
only because i have learned to ralise that i ahve more self respect and that you get what u settle for in life - if you settle for someone who cheated on you, then wat does that say about your self respect - your worth way more than that, and if the other person doesnt respect you enough to stay faithful, then respect yourself enough to kick the cr@p out |

In time I probably would forgive (have in the past) but not forget and I won't go back. IMO that is one of the worst betrayals

QUOTE: would you forgive them and accept them back? I've been there. 2 day later, when I finally realized that she sleeps around like no tomorrow, her clothes were in black plastic bags outside the street and she was calling a friend to pick her up. (she had no car) Absolutely pretty and beautiful women are not trusted anymore. Sorry ladies.

yes but you should be in counseling to ascertain what precipitated his unfaithfulness. You should believe that he is sincere in his remorse. If you suspect that he is likely to cheat again and that he only wants to get back together for financial reasons then no. you also have to determine if you feel that you would be able to trust him again. Marriage is for better of for worse. Short of physical abuse or finding out that he is a murderer of serial rapist I say work on it.

Nope, and depending on how I found out, he'd likely be castrated.

it's not so cut-and-dry for me.
it would depend on whether or not the person was a serial cheater, whether it was a long-term love affair, or whether it was a one-time occurance and there was certain regret on his part. it would depend on whether we were married, with children, and whether or not i were still in love with him. |

I've been through this all before, twice, and stupid me, I forgave her and got them to stop with the cheating behavior. They went back to it after a while. Never again. If I so much as think a girl is cheating on me from now on, she's out on the streets. There will not be a third time.

I would stab him to death with a large knife, roll his body up in my oriental
rug (would be a shame to ruin that rug) put his body and my rug in the trunk of my car, drive up the canyon and roll my rug, body included down a big mountainside...the animals would eat him..maybe the rug if there was enough blood on it. I would come home and play "our" song! |

I have been there and I walked away..I couldn't hurt a fly, I'm a pacifist! The rug is much more beautiful than the relationship ever was...
