I have eaten it raw, but never the whole live animal. It makes great ceviche.

Ive eaten it fried, boiled, and ceviche.
I hate it.. any way its made. Ive also eaten squid, and escargot, which are snails. I dont dig the sqid, even though its better and less tough than the octopus. Ill have some nice snails in a garlic butter any day.

This reminds me of a story of something that happened to me a few months back..
A girlfriend of mine, and i had an outing where we met with friends, and after went to a Peruvian resturant with this guy. Well, we decide to order an appetiser, and of all the things this guy chooses, unbknownst to me was freaking OCTOPUS ceviche! I couldnt believe what an *** this guy was sitting there choosing this crap for someone he doesnt even know! OF ALL THINGS!! FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD!! I talked about that for a month. |
