Cycle of the Werewolf (a novella he wrote back in 1980. it was what Silverbullet was based (loosely) on)
Gerald's Game Cujo Salem's Lot The Stand (only read half of it and it was stolen, but i loved what i read. would have gotten a new copy, but lately i've been finding it hard to commit to a 1000 page book) Gunslinger (only one out of the Darktower series that i've read) Children of the Corn (short story, but still damned good) |

The Gunslinger series. I could have screamed at the end of the last book, though!!! ARGH!
But it was sooo good. In fairness, book four dragged on way to long, though. I never got into his horror stuff. |

I read The Stand...scared the chit out of me. Fabulously talented, just not my style. Can you imagine being his kids and he comes to tell you a bedtime story.....NO, NO, DON'T DADDY...PLEASE NO!.

Gotta wonder if his wife Tabitha decided early on that SHE would be the one doing the bedtime stories??? lmao I absolutely love ' It ' and The Stand. I will be the first person to check out his newest one when the library makes it available. |

Salem's Lot The Stand Eyes of the Dragon The Talisman Black House (wasn't as good as The Talisman, but it's the sequel) |

He also wrote Stand By Me -the movie about the friends who go hiking in their local woods one summer-(with Jerry O'Connell and River Phoenix) It's not scary- but is a good story...

Stephen King is definitely the bomb. My favorite book would have to be IT. The book was MUCH better than the movie.
There's another book by him, but I can't remember the name about a group of people stranded after a spaceship or something landed on Earth. I like Peter Straub and Dean Koontz, too. |

I pretty much like all of his stuff.. Unfortunately, I think his best stuff was when he was drinking and drugging but of course we don't want him doing that just to write well... The Shining is one of my favorites, Pet Cemetary, Salem's Lot is a great classic... A lot of his stuff written under his psuedonym Richard Bachman is really good too....
