I didn't reap and didn't sew,
but played my cheap rhymes in the snow. So now you know - about to go. You show me off, alone to row, a boat with whiskey buckets, so... I'll go along. Alone I go. Not dreading this, just thinking so. Alone I go, I go along. No sad to sing, my silent song. Belittled not by right or wrong. No sad to sing my silent song. I like the rain and snow and then the leaves gather and fall again. I can't pretend I don't enjoy to torture peace and practice coy. Colloquial, our speech will dread the years of fear full in my head. But sleep with keep of dead that dream, and not of death but life the theme. |
