i knew a guy once we called the professor he had extensive opinions on everything and was apparently an expert of all fields..( i saw him arguing health with a friend thats a doctor)..Problem was he didnt know **** about anything and was basically wrong 100 percent..Also very smug and a smart *** to boot..

Yes and no! :) it depends... some people can make a little knowledge go a long way and seem to appear to be smarter than they really are, whilst others can be academically smarter but still end up being pretty socially retarded.
