Am I the only one suddenly getting pop up ads in the lower right corner of this site?

Is it new here, or does it mean Ive been hacked or somethin?

I'm guessing something new, as I've seen it on the right side of the screen as well.

I get them...and the ones to the right...and the stupid "datebook" ad that hides behind this wall....pretty sick of it

I am getting them too, started this week.

Mingle2 is serving ads from a different company. This is the way Charles explained it to us.

" Basically, the script for this company will have a small pop up on the bottom right of the page (which will float there).

Also, the new code will result in 3 ads on the right hand side on the margin, floating on the page."

i don t see any if u don't want ads popping up an u use fire fox get ad blocker plus best thing to have for such a thing

My email doesnt work properly with fire fox (I assume thats Mozilla)

ya it is u can use it for certain sites like this to block ads an still us explorer for your email that is mostly what i do is use it for this site an fb so i don't see the ads over there as well an once u do that u need to search for easy list they will give u stuff to add to use the block its very easy

i've been getting one that floats in on the right side, with three girls on it that wanna date me...i just click the x on it and it goes away...

only three girls heck what happen to one girl lol kidding

Thats a bit of a nuisance to me. I guess I gotta decide which is greater nuisance. meh.

ya that why i like fire fox cause of that program don't get any ads or any pop up ads cause they can be a pain an cause too my spy ware stuff too

It's actually right in the middle of the right side of the page. And yes, it stays there. At least the others you can close, but not these, unfortunately.

The ones on the right have a tiny X in the top right corner. For me, at least, this closes these out.

When I commented that day, it wouldn't close. But, it hasn't been an issue since.

Is it just me, or is everyone having a slooooooowed down version of mingle since these pop ups appeared?

Sometimes I just go to another site because its so slow/frustrating.

Hi Klc. The ads shouldn't be causing any excessive slowness. Have you tried clearing internet cache?

Im sorry youre quite right. My computer speed works fine now, but it mighta just been traffic? I didnt have to do anything.
