we are out there, us country boys just dont seem like the "country boys" they dress urban and seem like they are from the city, which usually is not the case.

Can you describe what attributes you think make someone a 'country boy'?
Your profile says you are looking for a cowboy who wants something long term. Are you looking for a horse-ridin', trail-worn, stubble-faced, gun-totin' guy wearing dirty dusty leather chaps or are you looking for a slick-haired, 20-gallon hat and 13 inch diameter belt-buckle wearin', shiny-booted guy drivin' a extra long cadillac with long-horn bull horns as a hood ornament? Maybe you're interested in just a regular working-class Joe who likes the simple things in life and likes to camp, hunt, fish, and ride all terrain vehicles. Each would probably describe themselves as a 'country boy' but each would be very different types of people List all the things you believe describe your ideal country boy and add those descriptors to your profile. It might help and couldn't hurt. |

Not all of them drive pickups anymore. And some have 9-5 jobs. Alot of them now are kinda urban during the week and all country boy on the weekend. Give it time and enjoy the hunt. WELCOME to the family!! |

One of my mates back at home found a few country farm dating sites, if that's what you're wanting. Just type "Country dating site" into your search engine, and you'll see a list of farmer dating sites :)

IDK about the OP but I like the cute ones (country boys) that say ma'am & sir and know to do the NORMAL things like call on a lady and take her on a proper date, and have the balls to make the first move and live in the country |

IF you wanna find a red neck...go hit the strip joints about 2 a.m.
After that you can find tons of them in the drunk tanks at the county jail. We got quite a few out here. (middle of Texas) You ladies ought to hit an actual rodeo. You wouldn't know what to do with yourselves. |

I think they are indeed a rare thing. They are born of a family where Mom stayed at home rather than work and as such devoted herself to the moral development of her children. If you can find this endangered species, you may also find her boys who were reared accordingly. Nowadays, I am afraid, a country boy is one who doesnt launder or bathe as often as he should. He also hangs out at bars a bit more than would allow for productive use of his time. I think our economy has changed who we are, as well as our families. |

So Dad stayed home and worked and tried his damnedest to have me and my brother be cowboys.
Didn't stick but, we know how to speak hillbilly and red neck fluently. |

He was the finest of role models and as a result, he reared the finest of children. Oh, and I apologise for implying this job was performed solely by women parents. Not so, as you are surely proof.

Thanks doll. I was as lucky as any kid could get.
I still have great memories of that simple up bringing. Catching and cooking catfish from our catfish tank while camping out in the yard. Snake hunting with my spear and machete. Riding those damned ponies. (the white one was a biter.) Church three times a week. Saying "Yes Sir" or "Yes Ma'am" or getting a whippin. Being taught respect and being apprecieative for what little we had. It was a great time. (cept for church....that got old) |

I think our economy has changed who we are, as well as our families. you've described my sons to a T and I would consider them to be good men & true country boys- they can chop wood, work on cars, fix anything, and cook (well the youngest is still a manchild at 17 - the grooming thing should kick in soon .... with the first GF, I imagine)
