In thinking about the possibility of my Parents dying, I have started to think about plans for my own funeral arrangements. I have an idea for a headstone that depicts that I am an artist. Perhaps a painting pallet. I've learned that you can purchase a coffin for around $995.00 as compared to $4000.00 that you would pay a funeral home. By law, you don't have to purchase your coffin from the funeral home. In thinking about this, I got to thinking about the date of my birth and the date of my death engraved on the stone. I gave myself 30 more years to live, dying at the age of 93, which would be 2041 or 42. So now I feel like I have "decided" how much longer I am going to live. If I am going to live until I am 93 I want to be in very good health in my old age and not in a nursing home, so I have decided to start taking care of my health better, flossing, and doing some stretch yoga to stay flexible. It feels like I am seeing or planning the future when I think of these things. Its sort of empowering. Hey, if I live to be 110 I won't complain. |

So I what I need are suggestions on what foods are the best to eat to avoid getting Alzheimer's.
My sister said spinach and red pepper are good. Anything else? |

I would be glad to donate my organs but I am wondering if 93 year old organs are going to last very long.
Do organs get old? If I am very healthy, and I don't drink or smoke, will my organs be good enough for donating? |
