Has anyone ever heard of virtual reality therapy? Is there such a thing, and if so is there something that could help with depression? I was thinking that surely they have to have something out now a days, like a device you can hook up to your computer, run a program and have a therapy session of some sort.

Anyone know anything about this?

IDK, just an idea I had, not sure where to go to look up if there's anything out there or not though.

I think it's called meditating ...... but to be honest what works for me best is my ipod & hiking or going to the gym........ there are endorphans that are released when upset or depressed that make one feel so much better! Then the next few days your body is so damn Sore thats all you think about.

Working out, exercising, meditating, etc. doesn't work with m, it doesn't help my depression, neither do medications.

No, doesn't work. Nothing does. There's a difference between normal depression, and abnormal depression, just like when your arm hurts from break or just bruising, or pulling a muscle.

I was just curious about VR devices. I would like to get a headset or something, and try it out.
