Today I found out one of my best friends got engaged.
just as I was congratulating her, I found out one of my best friends mother had just passed away.

One one hand im happy and excited. On the other I am torn and hurting.

Its bitter sweet.

We must enjoy and cherish those we have while we still can.
in the blink of an eye, everything changes.

Now I sit here crying, staring at this screen wiping tears away.
tears of joy and tears of sorrow.

How can I be growing so old, so quickly.
marriage, death of parents, births, careers, buying houses...
Time flies...

Stop and smell the flowers.
stop and watch the sunrise and set.

Kiss and 'hug and love and cherish all you can.

I know those feelings all too well.

And to add to my day, my grandmother had a bad fall and hurt her arm and is all bruised and hurt her head.

What a day...

Amen. Death is our destiny. I know the pain. They exist in this world if you remember them.

I hear you. Every day is a new day, though. It will always be different than the day before... If your loved ones know that you love them, that is a blessing to carry you forward.

I have been there and done that.I feel your pain!
