An open vision is like watching a scene unfold that is outside of yourself. It is not a picture in your head. I know people that have had had them and they are far from schizophrenic Where do you think they originate from?

Like a NDE or OBE? I've had those both clean and sober, and while not so clean and not so sober.

As interesting to me as that is....no. An example is a friend was walking past the television and although the sound from the documentary was playing a vision of a burning scroll was the picture. This was not the documentary at all???

I'll see shadows, and things out of the corner of my eye at times, hear things that can't really be explained. Like that?
Example, seeing my cat walking out of the corner of me eye, when he is laying behind me. Hearing a baby crying, but the one in the house is sound asleep. Is that like what you mean? |

Nope. I only have visions in my mind's eye. I don't know that i would want an open vision because I wouldn't know what to make of it. |

Many Christians today believe God still gives visions to His followers. Some distinguish between what are called "open visions" and "closed visions." In a closed vision, God shows the vision to the person in their "mind's eye." The person may be dreaming or have their eyes closed. In an open vision, God shows the vision to the person as if it were happening right in front of the person. The person is conscious and has their eyes opened.
