QUOTE: QUOTE: QUOTE: QUOTE: Oh no that actually helps you..... boosts your metabolism ...don't stop drinking milk ive never gained weight because of milk....your body needs it! Unfortunately, I seem to have developed a little bit of lactose intolerance. I had a cough that would not go away and milk, icecream, etc. aggravated it. My doctor suggested I stop drinking milk. I am using rice milk for my breakfast cereal. I know many other ways to boost my metabolism. I have lactose intolerance and take Lactaids when I have diary products. My mom has increased phlegm when she has ice cream. Have you thought about soy milk? Keep taking those calcium pills with Vitamin D! I've tried almond milk and soy milk. Almond milk is too rich, soy milk gives me gas. I settled for rice milk to put on my cereal and mix with protein powder. I really like the rice milk. I have the same problem with soy milk. lol Does rice milk have a fair amount of calcium in it? Myself - I have to keep up on my Vitamin D intake. Doc said it was on the low side. |

I don't think rice milk has much of anything in it, but it tastes good on cereal. I'm taking a vitamins and mineral suppliments. Maybe I need some D also |
