Topic: dual accounts/same e-mail

While signing up the other day I must have done it twice with the same e-mail address but two differant user names. Now I can't edit either profile without receiving a flag telling me the exmail address is in use already....how do I fix this??? I want to delete one of the user names and the profile so I can operate the other one. Please help.

It is my understanding that an account is
forever associated with an email address. So attempting to use that same email address with another username could not happen. (I am wondering if it glitched there and allowed it.) How far apart in time did you create the 2 accounts? You are obviously logged in. (Myself, I might try entering a different email address to rule out reversing that glitch): http://mingle2.com/inbox/mail_settings Because even deactivating one of the accounts would not clear the problem due to paragraph one above. As a resort, you could get a brand new email address and open a brand new account with it. And deactivate the other 2. Someone may have a better idea :-) |
