No, I didn't but I watched a show called "I cloned my pet" on television last night. The cost was around 150 thousand for the first dog. Then this guy had his little Chihuahua Dog cloned and ended up with three exact copies. I googled clone your pet and found this: http://www.iclonedmypet.org/ How weird is that. My first thought.... I wonder if they are cloning people too. I bet they are. |

I would if I could in fact afford to do so. I would have cloned two pets.

I wouldn't. There's enough animals needing homes that this is ridiculous.

I agree with you two ladies that there are many animals that need homes, but on the hand I really agree with tazzops that if I had the money I would definitely want to be able to keep my pets forever. I don't think its ridiculous at all to want to always have the likes of them around.

I think clones of clones of clones would eventually deteriorate the breed. But if a person just want to clone their pet ... one time, I don't think that will hurt the breed. |

And if the clone was no where like the looks, personality, being/soul of the animal you had cloned was like, what would you do then? Because none of the cloned animals have actually been anything like the original.
I adore the differences in personalities. It's why I have had so many animals. People are selfish enough to dump an animal because it wasn't "like" the other one. It's many the excuse among people who go for the same breed of animals. |

Both people who had their dog's cloned stated that they were exact copies and had the same personalities also. QUOTE: I adore the differences in personalities. It's why I have had so many animals. There are a lot of selfish pet owners that neglect their pets, I agree. |

Why stop at pets??...let's clone everything so we'll never have to know what it feels like to lose something or someone we love and hold dear to us!

Funny how things that people find unfavorable and imperfect with nature is what makes it so beautiful and robust.

Yes, I think that cloning results in exact physical copies. I might consider that if it were not so expensive.

I would clone a magnificent poop! No two are the same. |
