Stephen Hawking's Alien Warnings Divide UFOlogists
Apr 27, 2010 – 10:05 AM Snipit: (April 27) -- This weekend, famed physicist Stephen Hawking rocked the residents of this world with his declaration that aliens are likely to exist but should be avoided at all costs. First contact, he warned, could prove to be "much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very well for the Native Americans." Some scientists publicly refuted Hawking, blasting his pessimistic prediction of an extraterrestrial encounter. Meanwhile, other researchers have rallied behind him, offering similarly wary predictions. AOL News managed to establish contact with four self-described experts in the field of UFOlogy -- the study of unidentified flying objects -- to elicit their takes on the news. They fell roughly into two broad camps: http://www.aolnews.com/2010/04/27/hawkings-alien-warnings-divide-ufologists/ |

I agree with him. Aliens are likely to exist and that we should avoid them at all costs. He says: Don't talk to aliens. However, I think its too late.

People who are too willing to please are destine to be over run! The Indians when they met CC also felt that others who followed him were living incarnation of Gods. Aliens could size us up first and decide they do have every advantage and no reason to hold back invading us. Some species MIGHT actually want to be beneficial but remember that they will only help us if it benefits them somehow.
Hell, Imagine if Chinese landed on another world lacking our technology. They would use that to their total advantage to oppress the locals like the English certainly would. If we meet another civilization of non human origins we may wind up starting a war rather than them. |

I think its interesting that anytime a scientist or physicist says anything that he is NOT ALLOWED TO SAY (top secret or forbidden stuff) the brain dead drones want to shut them up or put them in the Mysterious Phenomena & The Paranormal category so they can dismiss them.
Personally, I'm sick of it. |
