I have a yearning desire to strengthen my relationship with God, so I will be spending less time on the internet, (a worldly distraction, that I LOVE) and more time in Gods word.

Please dont move this to the Religious Threads,

as this is more of a message to my ENTIRE Mingle family, and not just those who read the Religious Threads.

And PLEASE, dont let this post turn into a religious debate!

have you considered that fact that your posts may be helping others cope with their daily lives? you may see posting as a "worldly distraction", but others may look forward to reading your posts and enjoying your cheerfulness. if your posting helps others in this small way, you should think that it may be a way for you to give back to the community and give praise at the same time

if you look back over my posts you will find very few posts that have been edited by me. when i first started posting i would post exactly what was on my mind (sometimes my emotion gets the better of me and i do anyway)
then one day i posted something that was offensive to someone. i got a cute email from a mod letting me know my post was hurtful. since then, i read and sometimes, reread a post i've written before i hit the reply. sometimes i have to cancel a post
what i'm taking the scenic route to say is, of course i believe your posts help someone on a daily basis. thing is, if you need to devote more of your time elsewhere, that is your personal decision to make. life is short my dear friend, do what makes you happy. godspeed, bulldog
