Why would cheating be a blessing?

Oh man! . I think that can swing both ways. A blessing for the one who is cheating. A curse for the one that finds out.

my ex hubby cheated on me before during and after we got married

i still talk to him every so often and which has most of it about our son(hes 25yrs old now)

i can say in some point cheating can be a blessing
when you already know he is
and yes i admit its wrong

he has 6kids his oldest is my son whos 25
and his youngest is his daughter who 21
you can see he was having his joy of time thinking
he was gods gift....

he has been married to his 2nd wife for 20yrs

and he has told me he hasent been happy
well thats not my fault

but now he tells me, he wants me back.......OMG!!!!!!!

i just cant see that, and im thinking i know what my family would say

Not sure if you were asking me or someone else. lol. My take on it is that it would possibly only be a blessing for the one doing the cheating. As they are having their cake and eating it, but more fool them. It will eventually catch up with the cheater, once it kicks in what a true greedy dirty pig they really are. They shouldn't still be clueless then as to why their lover dumped them.

People cheat for lots of reasons...Once caught, it doesn't matter how a cheater rationalizes or explains it...It only means one thing....The person who cheated put his or her needs and wants above yours....In my experience I have not met one couple who successfully reconciled after a cheating episode was discovered because, try as they do, they are never able to fully trust their partner again...It's the ultimate betrayal...

The only way I would consider catching someone cheating a blessing was if it was way early on in the relationahip and you could dump them before you were compromised. Then I would thank my lucky stars.
