fiction is real
i see it on the library shelves and feel it in my heart a midsummers night dream hamlet king lear romeo and juliet the taming of the shrew last action heroes battle outside the gates of mordor still saruman and gandalf reappear and are gone again whole worlds of middle earth their toys somewhere the dragons sleep whilst heirs of bagginses sneak amidst untold treasures in mithril waistcoats the next generation loads at the train station in anticipation of wonders they cannot yet imagine beloved hogwarts learning spells awakening unto a hidden wizarding world imperfect leaders true friends though my elven daggar blade glows dimly at the folly of man and wands flicker unseen guiding fate for and against slytherin beasts yet star-cross'd lovers defy eternally the montagues and capulets to live and die for each other tonight in tragic romance |
