Where is the simplicity of being idle?
I stand here waiting... ... For nothing, Contemplating nothing. My timing must be off because I seek periods of something in between Nothing. Maybe if I cook this egg, Scramble it's guts, Stir it's insides, Flip it's bottom. I am careful not to touch The stove, The pan, Neither the eye nor the spatula... I stare and wait... And then nothing happens. & Then... ...More nothing. There is no time for nothing, I have achieved nothing... ... The eggs burn! |
