a)chicken cordon Bleu with white sauce over em
b)steamed white rice
c)steamed carrots mixed with peal onions
d)mashed potato but add paprika and or chili powder

for appetizer consider fried calamari or tator tots soaked in bacon fat with that flavor

for dessert have something light like sugar cookies or frozen peaches

Well thanks for the compliment. I actually do not have a bistro or diner but wish I did.

Lard fat/ and or bacon fat adds really good flavor
