I've been single for 5 years. I have three sons,4 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
My home is on a lake. I'm finally back here for awhile. Alright, awhile is up..moving up to the South Plains for the winter...yeah, I'm crazy!
I once read "what really matters, is not surviving the storm, but learning to dance in the rain." I like that statement. It kinda defines my life. I've survived the storms. Like most of us, they were really bad storms. But I can see a rainbow on the horizon and I'd love to share it with someone.
It's hard to say what kind of person one is searching for. Kindness,heart,love of family,friends,animals,laughter, gentle but strong.
Even at my age I still need to feel that humming in my body when I meet that special man, the one that makes me want to reach out and touch him every time he's near.To sit and just listen to the sound of his voice when he's talking, or his breathing when he's asleep. Looking at him in the morning drinking his first cup of coffee,trying to wake up. Seeing that slow smile that lights up his eyes when he see me.
LOL if you've stayed with me so far...the reality is this...
I'm looking for a buddy, a pal, a friend to share fun, laughter, quality time and adventure with. I want to be able to put my feet up and enjoy a beer or coffee and that person I'm with.

Have you ever wondered what a true friend is? Well I have found the answer to that all wrapped up in the heart of a fiesty little Texan woman named Vivian.
She has been there for me through thick and thin.I know whether I am right or wrong she always has my back.
She is honest, funny and I have had my Heart Blessed so many times I can't even say. lol

Vivian, Vivian, Vivian....what can I say about you that these good people ahead of me haven't already said?.....oh I know....never mind I'll be nice ;>)..knowing you this past year or two has really been great, and meeting you in person was a real privilage. Even if one of those meetings wasn't under the best of circumstances lol, but I'm really glad you and Kristi came by to visit. Till our next meeting, luv ya...

Vivian is SO much fun to talk to, she has that Texas accent and can hold her own with the best of them. Don't sell this lady short, she can handle most any thing that comes her way. I'm pleased to have her as a friend.

Longing to begin a brand new start.
Yet still enduring, ingesting,
all that we must lose in part.
Looking forward to making this year better.
Through all that we can do put together.
