Seeking an inquiring mind or someone who is just a lot of fun (usually these go together!)

Note: This note is because a friend just read my profile and said it is missing critical information about me and that I should mention that I am: sweet, warm, caring, generous, intelligent, a great friend, lots of fun to be around and a good person all around. OK - feels funny saying nice things about myself but now I have !!! = )

Me: love a variety of music (classical, rock n'roll, RnB, soul, blues etc) & entertainment, nature (and yes, that includes camping and wandering around in the mountains) reading, snoozing, exploring... I am open to trying new activities.

Agnostic, fairly liberal, no children, but open to yours. Believe in the “golden rule”: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If we all lived that way, wouldn’t it be great? (Note: Recently read this somewhere and think it describes my belief system pretty well: "do not believe that God, karma or some other celestial magic has a hand in people's lives")

Have traveled world wide and would love to travel more... I have lived in both India and England and have back-packed through Europe.

I love learning about the history and cultures of people... wish I could time travel to early Rome or Greece or England or... or.... or.... (without catching the plague etc or being burned as a witch or...)

Have two Masters degrees but still can't spell - which really hurts when playing Scrabble.

I have cats and love dogs…. Would love to have a place where I could have several animals.

I am seeking someone optimistic, basically happy with his life, stays informed about the world, and doesn't watch a lot of TV sports.
