Hi Ladies.
(and some men.. who..-- what the hell are you doing here?)
I'm Pete, I'm born and raised on Long Island, loathe it very much. Would prefer to be back in Orange County.. but we shall see..
You'll find my profile is about 50% YOU and 50% me. If you want to know more about me, I'd like you to message me and start a conversation! :) I'm a part time mechanic employed by myself...I get by just fine in my current situation.
I'm well versed in "around-the-house" stuff such as: electrical, plumbing, etc. I've been a website engineer (or whatever you want to call it lol), I've been a tow truck operator, I've been involved in scrap metal recycling and I've even worked for a florist once. Also used to sell things on eBay for a living.
I'm a bit all over the place, but mostly because I enjoy knowing how to do things--. Now I don't need to pay a mechanic, a plumber, an electrician, a tow truck company, or an eBay listing service, right? haha.
Like most guys, I like cars.. and I like football. I've got a 45 yr old classic Buick, a Subaru to save me on gas, and I'm a big NY Giants fan.
Family is important to me. Food is also important. If you're a very picky eater, I really have no idea where I'm going to take you, and it's important for me to take you out to dinner at times. This is not to say I won't date a picky eater! But I hope you know some nice restaurants that serve stuff you will eat! French, Sushi, Russian, Polish, Italian, Seafood, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Thai.. I eat it all.
Then there's coffee. Starbucks Coffee, or any other strong coffees from around the world are things I enjoy. I think it's interesting that a simple coffee bean can taste different depending upon where it's grown and how it's processed. Kenyan AA and Extra Bold's like Sumatra are among my favorites. Probably because with the amount of milk and sugar I use, they're the only things strong enough to make it still taste like coffee when I'm done with my condiments. haha.
Music? I'm a big Rolling Stones fan. Very much a fan of Keith Richards himself, and not just his music. Does this mean I'm an advocate of using heroin daily to help me write music? No. LOL, there's a lot more to him than that. If you know, you know. If you don't.. then you can study the man.
Most people use this space to describe all the activities they're into. I'll give it a try. I'm into a variety of things. I used to spend much time playing handball, or bowling. I have taken tennis and golf in college - and I'm always up to give those a try with someone else. Boating used to be my thing, until gas prices and the fact that most boats get less than 1 mile per gallon stopped me.
A good flowing conversation is one of the most important things to me. No communiqué = no connection.
There's not all that much more that I look for. It's really rather simple. Here's some things that I don't like:
1.) If your photos show you dressed in something that would cause your great-grandmother to have a heart-attack.. that's not good.
2.) If you are drunk more than once per month, you are probably not for me. If you're drunk every weekend, you need help that I can't provide.
3.) If drugs (those being anything you could receive a summons for or be arrested for) are any part of your life, you're DEFINITELY not for me.
4.) If money is not an issue, and you still ENJOY bringing work home with you? That's not necessarily a bad thing... but you and I won't work out. (this last one seems rather trivial but.. believe it or not.. I've dated someone and lived with someone who both brought extra work home - I like spending time with YOU when you come home, and you should feel the same way about ME. Workaholics need not apply!)
And.. a lot of people decided nationality is important to them.. I'm Italian and Ukrainian.
