I'm just as comfortable sitting on the couch watching movies as going to a music festival for days. I love live music (and don't go to near as many shows as I used to, but have been attempting to rectify that). On a quest to go to as many festivals as I can....my annual ones now include Austin City Limits and VoodooFest and Free Press Summer Fest here in Houston. One day I'll make it to Bonnaroo. Some of my favorite acts I've seen live include: Ween, David Byrne, Beastie Boys, Melvins, Big Business, Dead Weather, Black Keys, et al. Fan of GOOD music, but have developed very finicky tastes over time for all of my entertainment. I recognize that taste is subjective but I have a very sensitive pallet...Top 40 pop music pains me greatly.

I love good comedy, in almost any form, have found a particular love for British humor as of late--Spaced, Hyperdrive, Mighty Boosh. Big fan of Bill Hicks, David Cross, Patton Oswalt and Eddie Izzard for standup. After the enormous exposure, I had to pair down my likes to a manageable amount, meaning I only have several hundred movies and TV shows on hand at any given time. Rifftrax have become one of my favorite things to watch....if you don't know about them, learn. If you ever watched MST3K, you'll love 'em.
I'm a very diverse person who looks to be challenged intellectually. To wrap it up, I'm fun loving, sharp-witted, laid back (total smart arse) gal up for some good conversation and see where it goes from there.
