I like to enjoy life, experience new adventures, but can be serious and focused when necessary.

I would like to meet a sincere, down-to-earth, woman for friendship first, and a serious relationship later. I enjoy being romantic and affectionate, such
as by holding hands or showing public displays of affection. An animal lover, either cat or dog, is definitely a plus, since I have two cats of my own!!!!

My interests are many, but my main one is spending time with animals, especially the shelter animals. I
have volunteered at the SPCA of Dallas for many years. Now I volunteer at the Humane Society. I feel that these animals deserve a second chance in
life, and I enjoy matching the right animal with the right people.

Other activities of mine include cars, cooking, and hot rod shows

What else??? Well, some of my favorite bands are Cheap Trick, Journey, Simple Minds, Styx, The Cult, The Verbe, U2, and most bands from the eighties. I am
always open to dining out, going to a movie, wine tasting event or to the local coffee house, for some quality time, either by myself or with someone special. My favorite TV series is Miami Vice, and I finally have all the seasons. Also paranormal research and ghost hunting have become a new hobby for me.

I am bilingual in Spanish, which I picked up living in Spain as a teenager.

I don't have children of my own. I am, however, open-minded to dating a woman with older children, who is willing to spend time on an outside relationship.

I don't drink alcohol, due to my liver unable to metabolize it, but I am open to dating someone who does.

First Date: We could meet at the local aquarium or zoo, go spend the day there, and then go out to lunch or dinner, somewhere local and casual. Afterwards, we could get coffee at the local Barnes and Nobles or Starbucks and get to know each other better.
