Interests: I love to travel, but don't get the opportunity to do it enough, Music is a huge passion, especially going to concerts. I love to cook...I like to try new things, but never use a recipe. Lasagna, asian style flank steak and honey garlic chicken are some of my specialties.
They say to put it out there into the universe, so here it is - I would love to find a great guy to settle down with!
I had absolutely no plans of using the internet to find love ~ been there, tried that before. It's been a while and I am in a place where I am just happy and friends and family are like - why not give it another shot - you never know who you may find. So, here I am and whatever is meant to be ~ yes, I know, so cliche.... but, so true :o)
Family is very important to me and it would be great to meet someone who is close to their family as well. I have 2 nephews and I try to spend some quality time with them when I can. Both of my parents and my sister live here in WA so it is nice to have them all here locally. I grew up in Miami, but I have been in WA for 11 years now (wow, time goes by fast!).
I am looking to meet someone who knows who they are, what they want and someone who wants to try new things - be spontaneous, cross things off that "bucket list" together. I am very passionate when it comes to music and traveling - Going to concerts is always a huge plus! I try to go to as many as possible. I also love attending live sporting events. Growing up in south Florida, how can I not be a sports fan? One of my dreams is to attend the US Open and Wimbledon (tennis, if for some reason you don't know).
This year, I've made it a goal to become more involved in fundraising and charities that I am passionate about. I have already participated in four 5K's and I am currently in training for my very first Half Marathon which will be on Dec 4th down in Vegas for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America in conjunction with the Rock N Roll Half Marathon.
This has been a journey of a lifetime so far and I am enjoying every second. I am looking forward to the future and whatever it may hold. I know now that fitness is officially a part of my world and who knows - will I attempt a marathon in the future? Let me get through the half marathon first!!
As you can see, I am a dreamer and like to have fun, but I can have just as much fun just hangin out at home - cooking a meal together, watching a movie or catching up on the DVR.
