I have a sometimes wicked sense of humor. I am highly educated and very intelligent.
Currently, I teach first grade and I am ecstatic about it. Teaching a child to read is quite possibly the biggest positive impact I can make in a child's entire life. I make a difference every single day and I'm very proud of it.

I am crazy about animals and adore dogs and cats. I love taking pictures and usually have my digital camera with me. But I am not the outdoorsy type; I loathe being in hot, muggy, buggy places and believe that on the 8th day God created air conditioning. However, I do enjoy a nice long walk so I can do my nature photography.

I enjoy museums, bookstores, quiet social gatherings, going to hockey or baseball games, comedy clubs, bowling, a good game of Scrabble, etc. I am not into sappy "chick flicks." Give me comedy or an action film any day over some tear jerker.

I am a stained glass artist in my spare time. I love hanging out at book stores like Barnes & Noble. I could spend hours and hours there, just poring over books.

I have a great, close relationship with my family. They have taught me to put everything into perspective, to appreciate what we have rather than long for what we don't have, to cherish every day we're above ground, and that every day we should strive to achieve a good belly laugh.

The man who contacts me should have a nice smile that he uses frequently. He must be someone respectful, caring, kind and funny. If he treats his dog or cat better than most people treat their kids, then he's my kind of guy.
