UPDATE

Just want to let everyone know that Steve and I have decided to leave Mingle for various reasons. Many of you already have my personal e-mails, phone numbers, etc but if you don't and you want it, just shoot me an e-mail. Love you guys and take care!

I should say up front, I'm not particularly conservative or traditional. I don't particularly care about money, status, position, power, prestige, etc. To me, that says nothing about a person, except that maybe they're hard-working, or just lucky. I am honest, to a fault sometimes. I'm also one of the most loyal people I know, there isn't anything I wouldn't do for someone I cared about. I'm mostly pretty quiet and definitely shy in groups where I don't know people. I'm responsible, practical and have a lot of common sense. I have the kind of sense of humor that finds just about anything funny. I will and do laugh at myself. I'm human, I say and do stupid things sometimes and most of the time, I can laugh at it. I can't stand narrow-mindedness, jealousy, possessiveness, and willful ignorance. If you've never really examined the why's of your beliefs, if you blindly follow the crowd, then I'm probably not the woman for you. I'm not looking for someone to "complete" me, I can fill in the blank spots on my own, nor am I looking for Prince Charming to come rescue me. I've been taking care of myself for quite some time, longer really than I care to think about, and don't need someone to do that for me. I'm looking for someone I can love completely, body, soul and mind, someone who isn't afraid of that kind of love and someone who can and is willing to do the same. I'm looking for someone who isn't afraid to be himself, faults and all, and is willing to give me the same. I'm not perfect nor do I expect anyone else to be but I would like someone who loves me in spite of, and maybe because of, my imperfections. A little fun along the way would be nice too.
