Character matters, A LOT! Things like loyalty, honesty, kindness, respect, and monogomy are essential. I promise to give these, and expect the same in return. I believe a man is only as good as his word and make it a point to do what I say. I try to always do the right thing even when it is not easy, because at the end of the day, week, year, and when I take my last breath, I will have to be able to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see. I am human and make mistakes but try to learn from them. I try to always keep a positive attitude even when things don't go well, because there is always someone who is worse off or has bigger problems than you.

I am very well educated and can more than hold up my end of an intelligent conversation on almost any subject. I spend a lot of time reading, and one day I hope to write a novel or two, but wonder if I will ever find the time. I have a passion for learning about everything. I am always thinking about something.

I am athletic, run and cycle regularly to stay fit and try to live a healthy lifestyle. I am not a sports finatic however, and don't spend much time watching lots of sports. I have a great appreciation for art, other cultures, and love learning about this world and its people. When it comes to movies, I like watching those that make you think or feel emotion. I even watch some of the Brit(BBC) dramas. I am also very handy, good at working with my hands, and a great do it your selfer. I am the kind of guy who can figure out how to fix things.I worked my way through college doing some of the hardest blue collar work there is.

I believe everything in life happens for a reason. Throughout our lives we will meet both good and bad people. It is my belief that the the bad people come into our lives so we can appreciate and hang on to the good people.
