I am a retired engineer who grew-up overseas and worked most of my life overseas. In 2002 I repatriated to San Diego from Indonesia where I lived and worked for Conoco since 1986. Other countries in which I have lived/worked are Guam, Japan, Italy, Norway, England, France, Nicaragua, Chad, Ghana, Sudan, Dubai, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.

I have degrees in physics and mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy and San Diego State University and am something of an intellectual. My taste in music is eclectic however, I do not like Rap which I consider to be nothing more than ridiculous noise performed by those devoid of talent for the edification of those devoid of good taste.
