I believe in trying everything once whether that be parasailing, driving out into the country with no particular destination, riding a new roller coaster at an amusement park, taking an excursion to a spiritualist camp, trying a new cuisine, cruising through the Inside Passage of Alaska, playing miniature golf or renting a canoe for the day. I am always looking for the new adventure and strive to plan exciting and unique dates.

However, I am not searching for a “friend” or “activity buddy”...I am looking for a woman to date who believes in living life to the fullest.

I sincerely believe that chivalry is still alive though it is rarely put into practice these days. If having the door opened for you, pulling out your chair and acting like a gentlemen offends you I don’t think we will be a match. I know that may be hard to swallow being treated like a “lady” in today's world but that is just the way I am.

When selecting a dating partner “race” does not play a role in my decision. So, do not let your "ethnicity" stop you from contacting me. I base my opinions on who a person is as an individual not on the color of their skin.

I also have a dry and wry sense of humor and the woman I am seeking must have a great sense of humor too. In fact sense of humor is a “must” for me in a relationship. The person I’m with must be positive and optimistic, like I am, but also a realist and doesn't go through life with the “blinders on”. And, as I’m sure you can tell from my profile, I like a person who is straightforward but not overly critical. If you’re still here continue on...

I am an author/professional speaker and am extremely passionate about my career and I need a woman who understands that. Talk to anyone who is an entrepreneur and you will realize how important their business is to them. If you can’t appreciate that then you probably will not want to date me...I’m not trying to be harsh…I’m just being honest and upfront. If that doesn’t scare you off, then you might want to know...

I have no problem with you shopping, going to the hair salon, or hanging out with your girlfriends...just don’t expect me to come along. I think that as men and women we have different interests and don’t have to do everything together. However, when we are together I promise that we will have excursions to destinations that we both find enduring and to make sure to always kiss you properly.

Of course, I can’t list everything about me or my life in this profile, nor should I. I have many layers...like an onion...except I smell a lot better.
