Interests: Music, playing with grandkids, going to the beach, cooking, medical and police TV shows, time with family.
Just looking for friends, someone to talk to. Hard working granny, don't have a lot of time to go out with my job. I love meeting new people and making new friends, like to talk on the telephone. I have a good sense of humor and am a good listener. Love music, especially older rock and roll, country, but not rap or heavy metal type. Oh, and DON'T get me started on my grandbabies, I will talk your ears off.
I have met someone and am currently working on a relationship with him. Where it will go, time will tell. I am still open to make friends. I care about my friends and consider them family. I have been making some real big changes in my life this year and guess I am in "transition" and hope that things are going to move forward for me and this will make my life even better.
I don't like to get hurt and prefer honesty. I don't lie to people and appreciate honesty in return in my relationships. As far as I am concerned, life is too short to waste it being treated badly or lied to. Overall, I guess I am talking about 'respect' and I do respect my friends. AND - no one can ever have too many friends, at least I don't think so. If you would like a 'real' friend, drop me a line.

One of my personal favorites here -- and she has been for a long time. You rarely run into someone so supportive, so caring, so open, so honest, so truly a good person. She writes great e-mails, too! Marie, I know you've been through a lot this past year, but you have SO MUCH to be proud of, so much to pat yourself on the back for. I admire your persistence and your inability to ever give up. I've learned a lot from you!

If u love me (as a friend or more) u'll read the whole thing. What would you do if for every moment you were truly happy there would be 10 moments of sadness? What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow and you never got to tell them how you felt? So, I just wanted to say, even if I never talk to you again in my life, you are special to me and you have made a difference in my life. I look up to you, respect you, and truly cherish you. God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.
