Alienated because it makes interaction mean that much more; artsy so you're in tune with and exuberant about your individuality; and intellectual so you need to know why things don't make sense. But more generally, those traits pervade personality and I want to relate to someone. It's been 7 years this november since I've been on a date or had any kind of mutual attraction and it's wearing me down. I was hoping it would be easier to meet my kind of person at college but I don't know where to look. I certainly haven't enjoyed myself going to parties and bars with my roommates.

It's given me a lot of time to focus on everything else though. I know exactly what I want out of life and in 2 years I'll be in graduate school getting ready to spend a lifetime researching and modeling the brain. I feel like it's the biggest definer of society and the source of things we cannot fix; and that things will fundamentally change for the better when we understand consciousness. Working towards that future in my small way is the most important thing to me. I guess I like it when people have direction too... I sing in the practice rooms here to unwind. I'm not that serious I just don't know how to address a craigslist. I'm funny and people like it when I'm around. My best friend just left for LA to keep making movies. The first one we ever made is at youtube if you put /watch?v=ByV2ND9lFeA after it. We improvised it all and he filmed it with a digital snapshot kind of camera. I'm the one in the white shirt.

I don't really have pictures of myself but other people do... these are from this summer in Mexico. I go visit my family there when I can. I don't have a car or phone because all I do is study, but I guess I'm trying to change that. I have an incredibly satisfying life without spending money on anything except school, rent, and food and I'm never bored. If I seem interesting at all though I'd love to have a conversation sometime. I'll buy you a smoothie or coffee at the library.
