her imperfections disappear through mine. Someone who wants to be successful in all we do, not to make us happy, but because we are. Finally having mastered the art of thievery, we've stolen any chance for insecurity, pettiness, or jealousy to survive. Ready to start a pillow fight whenever the conversation gets to serious. We are content, complete, and........damn, wait'in to slide into that final resting place, yelling,"what a hell of a ride".
UPDATE: OK, everybody wants to see my eyes, sooo.......I searched for hours looking for anything. I never really noticed before, but finding a picture of me that shows my face, much less my eyes, is almost impossible. Even this 67' shot, and the one lounging in the 80's, I'm hidden in the shadows, or my glasses. Whats up with that.........guess its just me, that's what I look like.
UPDATE: New rule...men over 50 are allowed to change their mind (Man, it feels good to finally have equal status with women). Soo...the next year(2010) is going to be devoted to OTR trucking(childhood dream). Come along every once in awhile or wait for this "boy" to come home. I'll get it out of my system, settle here at Lake Fork, and start the business that brought me here.

I'm recently divorced after thirty years, one son, 17, living with his mother. I was a Golf Course Superintendent in Fort Worth for 35 years, so I've had the " big responsibility...work hard... " gig for to long. Time for a change. A little LIVING of life, rather than simply living it. Don't get me wrong, the ambition is still there, just a little re-direction. Something simpler, relaxed. Let the " boy " come out some.
Coffee on the porch watching the sunrise, spending a day catchin those biguns (see pic), Sunday afternoon drives to nowhere(did I just say that.... during football season?), BS'n around friends with a cold one.
I love rearranging things just because. A room or the whole house, a flower bed or the whole yard, you never know.
I don't have a workout regimen, I smoke, and eat what I enjoy. I work and play with equal enthusiasm . Keeps me in pretty good shape according to Doc.
I like music, a lot. Rock, Country, Blues, R& B, NEARLY ANYTHING. Well, can't do Hip Hop, or Rap. I just don't get it. I still hold on to my guitars, I'm not sure why, I don't play the way I used too, but still like to figure things out that catch my ear.
I like working with my hands. When I was a kid, nothing was safe. If it could come apart, it did. I'm still that way. Over the years I seem to have gotten better at actually repairing the stuff( thanks for the patience Dad), rather than ravaging things to the point of no return.
Fault's.....sure I've got em. I just don't dwell on em. Baggage.....I'm 51, at our age, you have baggage, but Ive packed light. Drama......great for the movies, otherwise kept at a minimum.
