I am a single mother of a 15-year-old daughter. She comes first and foremost in my life.

I currently work as a Teacher's Aide at a Catholic school, but I recently went back to college to pursue my Master's Degree in Consumer Psychology.

I'm Catholic and attend Mass on Sundays and Christmas, but I am not a "Bible-thumper" and have no problem dating men of other faiths.

I workout about 3-4 times a week, alternating jogging/walking with free weights up to 8 pounds. I also try to remain fairly active even when I'm not working out.

I don't eat red meat or eggs, and while I still eat chicken and turkey occasionally, I am trying to phase them out and become a pescetarian. I eat a lot of vegetables and try not to eat too much junk, but I've never been known to turn down chocolate! I prefer beer to wine with dinner. :)

I like to travel, and I love visiting the ocean and big cities, but camping is really not my style.

I would rather watch sci-fi and action/adventure movies than watch "chick flicks." I have a broad taste in music - I have over 4000 songs in my iTunes - but I mainly listen to rock (all genres) and dance/techno, with some forays into world/new age music and classical music. I'm not a big fan of either country or rap music though.

I prefer educated gentlemen who can carry on conversations other than sports-related, who can dress themselves in something other than jeans and t-shirts, and who know how to hold a door open for a lady.

Multiple body piercings, multiple tattoos and/or shaved heads do not turn me on.

I believe in true love, and that the right man is out there for me somewhere. My motto is "friends before lovers," so I have no interest in casual sex relationships or married men. I love non-sexual physical contact and have no problem expressing my affection for the right man with cuddling, hugs and back rubs!

My hair color is blond in the profile picture, but I died it black for Halloween. I've had so many compliments on it that I may just keep it this way. The second photo of me is on Halloween night at a costume party. I don't normally dress like that, unless of course, you want me to... ;)
