As my “handle” (youngasyoufeel) suggests, I find the fact that I am 66 years old pretty much irrelevant. The number of years one has lived is only a romantic problem if you think it is. While I'm looking for another job I’m keeping myself occupied watching movies, reading, walking, visiting art exhibits, going to festivals, attending lectures, and writing. Writing is my ruling passion, both professionally and personally.

I have a good sense of humor and always prefer the truth to a lie. My friends tell me that I’m compassionate, loyal, generous and never boring. “Christian-Other” means that I have a daily practice of “centering prayer”—a form of Christian meditation. I am not especially “athletic,” but do enjoy walking and mild yoga.

I'd like to meet someone down-to-earth, easygoing and compassionate, who enjoys life and doesn't take himself to seriously. Your profession and hobbies matter less to me than who you are as a human being.
