I would like to find a normal guy, you know, the kind that wants to be with a normal girl. No drama, no drugs, no strange diseases or medical conditions, just a normal guy.

He should like a laid back, down to earth girl, who he doesn't have to wait to get all pretty for him, she is just ready to go. Still takes an interest in her physical appearance, but won't waste your time or hers primping for you.

I am more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt than anything else but I clean up pretty nice for the right occasion. I prefer sitting around a campfire with a cold beer or nice glass of wine (Murphy Goode - Liar's Dice Zinfandel is among my favorites) to fine dining. A good band at a dive bar is fun every once in awhile too. Staying in with a good movie is always an option - especially in the winter!

I have never been married nor do I have kids. I like kids – I just don’t have any. I do have a couple very spoiled dogs – very spoiled.

I love living in Minnesota but the winters are a little tough to take sometimes. A warm weather vacation in February or March for a little fishing and beach time is always a bonus. Long weekends up north in the summer are the best – fishing and campfires – it doesn’t get much better than that!

I like a wide variety of music - rap is not music in my world (sorry to those of you who like it). Currently in my CD changer you’ll find Pink, CCR, Neil Diamond, Carole King, Cat Stevens and The Best of Bread. I know – it’s quite eclectic but I like it all. Update - Cat Stevens just got replaced with James Taylor. I like all types of music from blues to some heavy metal.

I would like to think that I have a good sense of humor but I guess that is something for others to decide. I have been entertaining my family and friends for 44 years – I’m sure that I have given them plenty to laugh about - some intentional – some not so much!

I am not interested in dating a whole bunch of guys, but I know that sometimes you have to look through the barrel to get the right apple. I am looking for the right apple. Does this mean I am husband hunting? NOPE, just looking for someone to spend time with, that makes me happy, and that has enough in common with me that we compliment each other.

I take care of myself to some extent, I don't hit the gym every day, (or many days for that matter), but I try. They guy I am looking for is not based on a physical vision, but should be witty, fun, and easy going. The kind of guy that can be my friend and companion as well as my boyfriend. I don't want to tie him down, or tell him what to do or where to go, I just want him to want to be with me when we can be and enjoy each other's conversation.

I am a grown up, but I like to have fun. He should too!
