I am an introvert. Don't Get me wrong -- I'm a perfectly well-balanced person that functions extremely well in social settings. Most people would never know unless I told them. However, I do everything best when I'm alone; working, studying, thinking, planning, etc. For my entire life I've done things this way, and I think it has worked out pretty well for me. Lately, though, I've actually been noticing how alone I always seem to be. For once, I'm actually starting to think that I might be lonely.
I haven't really been able to figure out exactly what I'm looking for yet, so I'm working through that. I am very open to a long-term relationship, though. I don't have a set "type," which is probably really unhelpful in this situation. Ideally I'm looking for a guy that can be a great friend above all else. I can be a little obsessive-compulsive about things (nothing major, I promise!), so the ideal match would be someone that doesn't care how the bed is made or the napkins are folded.
Some more information about myself would be that I'm a junior at a local university. I'm an INTJ for any of you Myers-Briggs aficionados. I'm very involved on campus and in the community, and tend to give a lot of time to them. I love to write, and want to get published one day. It's hard to say if that will actually happen, though, so I'm still weighing my options for a good day job (I have too many priorities for the starving artist lifestyle). I'll probably either end up teaching or going to law school.
