I am retired long distance Grandmother; not a cougar or even a hang out friend with under 50 folks. An empty nest for a decade it is not likely that I will date someone with children still at home.

As many days as possible I enjoy my life long interests in being creative; jewlery making, writeing, drawing, flower arrangeing, needle work, cooking, tile work, and carpentry. I like my crowded comfy casual home and usually have a project going. It is and oasis of memories and a place to create but I rarely entertain there since I have made it a home for my elderly father.

I also really love being outdoors and have made a big effort on my yard and rehabbing my little home and it's landscape; especially the kitchen and my studio. I find the computer a lot of fun but I am still figureing out a list of electronic retirement toys. Often do multi-media at once. Extensive reading interests and no problem watching a great movie or well done tv.

When I feel social enjoy having a picnic or BBQ's, evening walks, and a casual game,movie, or dip in the pool. Sports I like to watch on court are basketball, baseball, soccer, track and field, or fishing. I found the Atlanta Para-Olympics thrilling and Special Olympics have a fond place in my heart. Don't mistake me for a sports softee because I like rough and tumble as long as sportsmanship stands king. I used to hunt and hike but now more likely to fish or just take pictures.

I would not be comfortable on stage but I enjoy making costumes or working on sets and watching performances. If you sing, play, or act I can be a supportive fan. Renniasance Fairs, Scottish Festivals, Arts in the park, Concerts on the River, flea markets, and farmers markets are a great leisurely walk. I am an excellent travelor, love to cook, and being a congenial hostess when there is a party with a purpose. I am blissful at the Fourth of July and Christmas. It is the one time I love being a kid at heart.

Cool to start I would want to be your Valentine for life. I like being affectionate to that special one in my heart and expressing that to my mate. I have never cheated on anyone or abandoned them without cause.

As far as you... I am not all that into physical perfection as I am someone who can be approriate and comfortable to the situation. I tend to prefer a guy my size or bigger, OLDER, that is as considerate and passionate for me as I am for him. Non-smoker is a must. No recreational drugs past or present. Someone who wants to just revel in the last love of life as long as possible gets bonus points.

I have always enjoy riding in fast or classic muscle cars so a hobbyist would be fun. On the water I like body sailing and something that lets me be intimate with the water. Used to canoe but haven't tried kyacks. I have never tried scuba either but it is on my list as are shared bubblebaths.

My idea of a perfect romantic retreat is a nice house boat, RV, or mountain cabin off season. Building a cabin together would a lot of fun but I do not want to live long term in an RV. I would like to do more photography and would like someone that wants to have fun making memories after years of working hard. Lets smell the roses together. No forced marches just as it is possible.

While I love romantic love notes what is important to me is someone who wants to have that best friend to to talk about everything or nothing in absolute confideniality and trust. I like a person with their own opinion but I would rather agree to disagree than argue over anything. My life is pretty peaceful and comfortable and I like that I don't punch a clock or have to compeat with anyone .

If you are more about finding a companion, a friend, and a person to genuinely love you maybe the effort has paid off. I do see people find happiness this way. Have a really good day and may all that is good come your way.
