My Self-Summary
I love to live life and cherish all that it has to offer. Being outdoors is a must and I try spend as much time as possible finding new places to spend my time. I hate TV and only have one so I can watch a good movie now and then. I fully believe that communication (and lots of it) is what makes a relationship work. There may be things that go wrong in a relationship but with communication things can be worked out. I'm affectionate and pda's are a welcome thing with me. Yes, that means I'm a touchy feely type of person. I love to read and I write as well. I work hard so I like to play hard too and I don't mind getting my hands dirty.
I'm also a little bit of the girl that your momma warned you about... I'm inked all over and have no intention of stopping any time soon. I just got a new piece on my neck in tribute to my brother and I have my next one designed and waiting for the next time I'm in the mood for the needle. I look for new and interesting stuff all the time that will fit into what I want and will have some sort of meaning in my life. Getting a tattoo may be a random act when it happens but the design I get is never random or meaningless.
Just because I'm open minded and a bit of the rebel doesn't mean that I don't havemorals and values. I am fiercely loyal to those I care about, I'm very honest and I love with everything I have in me to give. I know the difference between right and wrong and I need to be able to go to bed at night knowing that I lived my life right for another day. I'm one of the first ones that will be there when someone needs me and I'm one of the last ones that will ever hurt another person intentionally. I love quickly and whole heartedly... Yes, this has been a source of pain for me but it's alright, at least I have known love in my life.
I find different things attractive about different people and I try not to judge based on appearances. If you're smart and funny and love animals then you have a good start with me already. Monetary things are just that and they are not what matter so keep your money as I don't want it... Be who you are and win me with your personality, loyalty, and honesty and I will be yours forever. Don't lie to me or cheat on me and if you tell me you're going to do something DO IT!! Oh, and please be on time. If I wanted to stand around and wait it wouldn't be for a date.

What I’m doing with my life:
I'm moving to North Hollywood in February. I will update this section as I go along.

I’m really good at:
Being there when people need me. I'm a "fixer" and I love doing things to help other people. I'm also a poet and I've been told that I'm really good at it. I'm mechanically inclined and I love to figure out what's wrong with things and fix them, I also love to make things. I'm a good cook and love having other people around to cook for.

The first things people usually notice about me:
My infectious smile, easy laugh, quick wit, and outgoing personality.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food:
I try not to say that I have favorites of any of these things as my taste varies so much. Depending on my mood I could be listening to anything from jazz to metal, watching something that makes me cry or laugh, reading a bio or a murder mystery, and eating anything from cookies to gizzards.
If I had to name one from each it would be these...

4. comfort/soul food (mac and cheese)

The six things I could never do without:
1. laughter the kind that makes it hard to breathe
2. toilet paper need I really say more?
3. a book to read exercise for the brain
4. paper and pen an outlet when the physical doesn't cut it
5. Weenie and Karma love my little fuzzballs
6. hugs the ultimate form of human contact

I spend a lot of time thinking about:
What new lesson life has in store for me. I have learned a lot through my life but I believe that the day I stop learning new things is the day my life becomes useless. Want to learn with me and see what we can come up with to teach others?

On a typical Friday night I am:
I never know what I'm going to be doing anymore... I love to read and that happens a lot. I swim at night so that is a possibility as well. So many things to choose from!!! Who knows, maybe I'll be spending time with you! ;)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit:
I know what it's like to live on the streets and do without. Yes, I have many stories to tell and have had an interesting life but let's just save that for when/if we meet in person.

10-20-11 My step-dad passed in May and it has been a pretty rough year. But on a lighter note... Going to Disney Land for my bday with 2 of my besties and I'm SO excited!!!

1-3-11 Found out a few months ago that my step-dad has colon cancer and that it is already advanced to stage 4. In his honor I got another tattoo. I have the symbol for finding a cure for colon cancer on the inside of my left forearm. There is a symbol below that is in support of finding a cure for cancer and if you are into it please copy and paste it on your page.
Other than that I'm still working hard and just trying to get by.

4-1-2009 I went to Camp Pendelton this weekend and was given a guided tour by my brother's best friend that was stationed there with him. WHAT A DAY!!!

12-31-09 My brother's best friend (now my brother) spent last month with me and we got to see more of the things that he and Lurch saw together and made some new memories of our own. It was a wonderful month and I'm thankful for just a few more little things in my life.

My thanks to those that have gone before, those there now, and those yet to come.
