I am a retired graphic artist originally from Birmingham. I am divorced, have one daughter and two grandsons. I am very family oriented. I enjoy traveling, gardening, dancing, flea markets, board games, cookouts, and getting together with family and friends. I also enjoy Mardi Gras and look forwarding to parading every year. I believe that communication is the most important part of a relationship. If two people can talk with one another, not at each other, most all problems can be solved. I am looking for someone who is confident in himself, honest, has a good sense of humor and just likes to enjoy life. Someone to be my best friend, companion and soul mate. Someone to share sunset with. I think the first date should be spent getting to know each other - no movie - you can't talk - maybe over coffee or a glass of wine, a walk in the park.
