Just a note. I am currently revamping my life a bit, as an empty nester, my life has changed considerably. This means transition and I don't know where it is going to take me.


I love walks just about anywhere like in the park or in the mountains. I like outdoorsy type stuff even if it is just being outdoors in the shade reading a book. Physically I am not able to mountain climb due to a health condition though. I like to play games together, currently I play poker online. I like having intellectual discussions about life and human behavior but I am not a scholar. I love watching movies and discussing them after. I like dining out sometimes but not a necessity. I am a decent cook and do not mind cooking, even outdoor grilling. I love animals and enjoyed living on a farm when I was young. My favorite animal is a horse, I do know how to ride and care for horses but have lived in the city for a while so haven't had a chance to be around them. I enjoy people watching in a park or public place. I try hard not to judge others for how they live their lives, my only control is how I live mine.

I believe equality in this country has still not been established for non whites and fight to help this happen faster. I believe I should be able to say what is on my mind, have my mate give it value and not have to defend it. I believe my mind works well for me most of the time but I do have off days...lol I am not easily shaken or shocked. I believe materialistic things are necessities that are needed to live but they do not mean happiness in this life at any level. I believe we reap what we sow so we need to think before sowing. I like myself so I do not need someone else to validate me. Partnership and companionship are the greatest gifts we can give each other outside of love.


Man of my dreams is non-prejudice, intellectual, positive by nature, has a strong mind but not a control freak, thoughtful and romantic. Must love nature and animals. Emotionally secure, mature but playful, self motivating, only drinks at occasions, doesn't do any drugs. Physical appearance, please be clean but not obsessive, warm eyes, deep voice would be nice, not a requirement.

I would like a man who wants things to be good at a private just us way, not worrying about what the outside world thinks because they do not make us work. Comfort with each other and a willingness to keep it good between us at all times. Making the outside world our playground not our government.
