I recently graduated from St. Edward's University with a degree in Communication. Currently, I am working so that I can stay in Austin and pay the bills. It's nothing glamorous, but it gets the job done (pun possibly intended). Music and writing are two of my primary passions, and you can usually find me browsing multiple music blogs with my ears perked. I write about music for several different websites, and my dream is to support myself through informing and entertaining people with my words.

Critiquing and analyzing pop culture is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy pointing out the absurdities in things like commercials, TV shows, Top 40, etc. I love discussing gender, politics, and a lot of different social issues. I also love making people laugh. I have a very witty sense of humor, and I'm all about bad puns and obscure references.

That being said, I feel like I am a very nice and laid back person. If you are down to earth, have a decent taste in music, and are passionate about something, chances are good that we will get along.
