48 year old woman from Pottstown, Pennsylvania      Looking for man for relationship

About TheGirlNextDoor07

On dating sites, the profiles all melt together into an almost-indistinguishable goo. According to all published sources, we all scurry from one exciting activity to the next, from theater to dining out to museums to traveling to walks on the beach, and on and on.

With so much frantic activity, how do we get to know the other? Life is mostly lived in the in-betweens. In between trips to the theater or the museum or such, we do the day-to-day stuff that forms the bulk of our existence. We drive to work, go to the gym, make dinner, pay bills, garden, run errands, do laundry.

I'm looking for someone to live in the in-betweens with me. At the grocery store together, I can't help but admire the architecture as you stretch for something on a high shelf. As we sit in the living room and read, every so often I will surreptitiously glance at you over my book to marvel at the way your eyes gaze back at mine.. We make dinner together, and oops, I'm so sorry that I brushed up against you as I moved towards the refrigerator. And there's no way I'm not going to check you out as you walk out of the room. And why can't I get the scent of your cologne out of my head? I know when to light the candle and when to blow it out.

In the in-betweens with the right person, there is the quiet confidence of a relationship that just fits perfectly. No need to look anywhere else. No need to fill up the day with activities. The in-betweens are full enough.

I think of myself as intelligent, compassionate, kind, insightful, and a giving woman with a gentle spirit. I don't take myself too seriously, but I handle carefully the feelings and beliefs of others.

I am a big fan of the fall: Let me count the joys of autumn: the distinct crispness of the air that has evicted summer's heat; the heady scent of a wood-fire in the distance; the bounty of fall's harvest (picking apples, drinking cider); the vibrancy of nature's foliage display; the coming promise of Thanksgiving and Christmas

A wise man once said: "The most precious possession that ever comes to a man in this world is a woman's heart." My heart is ready.
