I'm a genuinely nice guy. I'm romantic, committed, kind of an all-around good guy. I'm fun to be with although a bit on the quiet side. I have a keen sense of humor and am exceptionally patient and optimistic. I laugh at myself and will enjoy your doing the same. I don't have to win, I don't dominate the one I'm with, I have a deep respect for people and critters (well, not so much spiders). I'm able to be a strong shoulder to lean on when necessary as long as you will reciprocate. I am optimistic, I love intimacy with my mate, public displays of affection are fine, touching, caressing, kissing, holding hands, making her smile and laugh, looking deeply into her eyes, making her feel important because she is. There is nothing she could ever do to embarrass me. Want to tie a pink bow in my hair while we sit in a restaurant? Go ahead. If it is from her, I love it. I have faith in her-that if I forget something when we go out, she will pull me aside, turn us to face each other directly and closely and she will whisper to me that my fly is open. I have to admit, though, that I am a hopeless romantic. I hope she can stand having doors opened for her, being asked how her day was and meaning it, and listening intently to her response.
I really enjoy live theatre. I don't need Broadway - there's much to be seen off that beaten path. I enjoy most music and love to dance. (I'm not a very good dancer - somewhat self-conscious - but am a great shagger - Carolina Shag - I'd love to teach you if you'll teach me your favorite dance.) Then let's go out on the town. In fact, my favorite exercise is dancing. Oh, yeah, about truth in advertising. I am 62 - but I feel and act more like 50 and my doctor concurs. I've decided that from now on, since I don't feel like I'm getting older, I'm going to quit adding a year to my age on my birthday and, instead, add a year to the year of my birth - that way I will stay the same age.
