Scattered Dreams.

Though we meet most in scattered dreams
Soft silver moon light casting its glow
There is no dream that can compare
To your touch that burns upon my skin
The sweet taste of your kiss on my lips
The warmth I feel wrapped in your arms
The look in your eyes as they lock with mine
But until we can be together once more
I will hold you in my scattered dreams.





Fades into Slumber.


The darkening mist swirls round
As my sight fades into slumber
And in a sudden sparkling flurry
I take flight as a sparrow on the wind

I am lifted far above the roiling earth
Transported beyond this star filled night
In the silence, I sing a sparrow’s tune
Sweet praises dedicated in your name

In vain, I strive for an aimless path
I am pulled toward your silent song
As the moon rises above the gloom
I am helplessly drawn to your side

My gentlest touch traces the silver shards
That are playing upon your handsome face
My heart sings as I bend to kiss your lips
Our voices joined in one flawless melody


Waking

Some where between dreams and waking
Reality is shifted
And my dreams are lifted
From my heart to my head
And I see my true desires

In the glow of the fading night
My heart whirls
Soft butterflies twirl
Toward the paling moon
Wings on my skin as they pass

From the shadows of a broken dawn
The desire is burning
The one who leaves me yearning
Moves closer, reaching for me
The fire melting my defenses

Some where between dreams and waking
My lover touches me
Setting my dreams free
From my heart not my head
And I see my true desires.

The hour draws ever near
When I will hold you close
Feel your lips on my skin
I tremble with anticipation
To see that look in your eyes
I will wrap myself around you
Whisper softly in your ear

The fire you light in me
When you caress my body
To feel your heated passion
As you press against me

Evening shadows have come to pass,
And so we recline in the embrace of starry darkness.
No witness but all of creation, No sound but the forest and fields.
We share our desires with the Universe above,
and the Earth cradles us.
Like Nature's own children we are, naked and unashamed.
The breeze in the pines whisper to us, words we know not in our thoughts, but in only in our dreams.

Stay.

Come closer to me,
welcome to my heart.
Feel the warmth of my body,
my hand on your skin.
Let me hold you close,
feel your breath
mixing with my own.
Stay, sleep the sleep
and dream the dreams
that lovers share.
