About Ashlers
Let's see, about me and what I want. When I find someone, I want someone who is my other half. I am a very supportive person and need someone who is the same. Family and friends are very important, and I want someone where that is a priority, too. I want to feel like I am wanted by the person I am with, and not like a friend, and I will return the feelings. I want honesty, and if there is a problem, for it to be said.
Things I like... well... I like going out on occasion. Probable once, maybe twice, a week. I prefer smaller places with either live music or karaoke. I like the Anchor Inn in the summer. I love going to concerts, sometimes too much. I love to sing. Music and art are my life, and the Goo Goo Dolls are my favorite band, though I like ALL kinds of music. When i say all, I mean all. I have a very diverse CD collection (what's a CD?)
I have really started working on me this spring and even more lately. I am working out more to help me health-wise and to look better, too. I do like taking long walks, however cheesy that may sound, either by myself or with someone. I have started riding my bike again, too. I want to also learn how to ride a motorcycle. Wouldn't THAT just freak mom out??
I also have my own dog. He's a rescue long-haired chihuahua named Rojo Poco (Little Red), but I call him Rojo or Ro for short. He's still getting used to people because of his past, so you have to be ok if he barks at you, no worries, he's not a biter, and calms down fast. I love animals, especially dogs, and am starting to volunteer with a local shelter in hopes to maybe start training dogs.
Oh, and I guess one of the biggest and most important things about me is I am a Husker football fan. You will NEVER change that about me. I lived in Iowa (if you can really call Carter Lake, Iowa) for about 8 months and got my Hawkeye plates... of course they say HZKRGRL, and I am kind of sad to have had to let them go since we are not Big Ten with UofI. But, I can now get my Husker plates. :)
