In late October, I arrived in Seattle with three overstuffed suitcases and a dream. A dream that I would one day live in a place with seasons, and culture, and winning sports teams. Well, two out of three ain’t bad – right Meatloaf?

I'm not the girliest girl on the block - don't get me wrong, I do my hair and makeup, try to dress like a lady, and occasionally squeal over baby animals but I don't get all excited about weddings, shopping, ticking biological clocks, and the color pink. I'm passionate and opinionated about sports and music, especially the business side of both - and freely admit that I've never seriously played any team sports or performed due to a severe lack of talent. But I am an exceedingly good speller and understand sarcasm as if it was a second language, so it's not all bad news. Silver lining, yo.
