I am retired. I spend most of my time writing. I am looking for a female to inspire me. Hopefully I can do the same for you. I am pretty much a broke poet but I enjoy what I do and that is worth more than money to me.

I like picnics with someone close to me, cooking out, a stroll through the forest puting my back on the ground looking up through the leaves with sunlight sparkling through the leaves with the sounds of nature all around. Peace in a stressed out world.

I write song lyrics but I am not a country music fan. I like most other music though. My favorite all time group is the Moody Blues. What's yours? It's OK to email me.

Oh the poet
So sly with his pen
He will fly you to the stars
And set you back down again

There are no places
The poet can't go
From the speed of light
To a turtle crawling slow

From the silence
Of a single butterfly sneeze
To the soft crashing to the ground
Of the colors of Autumn leaves

You think he works for no pay
While you're reading all the while
Only one thing is on his mind
He is trying to buy your smile

Oh but be aware
This poet so smart
Before you know it
He has written into your heart
